Well, today's the day! Sound the horn - today kicks off a year of adventure, reinvention, and challenges.
- Start 529s for Arden and Leslie.
- Make a quilt. Probably a small one.
- Make one clothing item each for Arden and Leslie.
- Complete my cooking list.
- Organize recipes/ make cookbook.
- Finish the wooden door mat (from the 31 Projects list).
Make a headboard.- Make a rag rug.
- Invite one person or family over for dinner each month. I hope we actually do more than that.
- Make enchiladas. I've never done it and you know it's one of my favorite foods.
- Teach at least two workshops of any kind.
- Have a Pinterest party (or similar craft party).
- Read at least 6 biographies. I imagine my reading list will not be terribly large this year. I don't mind.
- Learn to use my camera on manual.
- Potty-train Arden!
- Lose 10 lbs. 20 would be divine but I'll settle for 10.
- Purchase land for our next home.
- Write two letters a month, minimum. Postcards from Postcardly do not count.
- Make myself a denim skirt out of old jeans.
- Do the Ruler Growth Chart (from the 31 Projects List)
- Paint my white fan to look like this one. Yet another from the 31 Projects.
- Make a time-lapse video.
Have Leslie's Christmas stocking monogrammed... pronto.- Go to the Georgia Aquarium.
- Make magazine baskets.
- Make a fabric Memory Game.
- Frame Arden's Are You My Mother? banner.
- Teach Arden to dress herself.
- Hang a hook/ hooks in Arden's room for jackets and hats.
- Stain the girls' IKEA table and chairs.
- Make at least one overnight trip to The Farm. (Heh, maybe by this time next year, I'll get around to a night away with NO babies. Now that's a goal.)

Do I need to start cutting squares of fabric for the quilt? Wendi has a great enchilada recipe -- I have it somewhere. Also have some old jeans you can have. Love all your ideas and goals -- especially the rag rug. Always wanted to make one as well. I've seen on Pinterest where they make dresses for little girls out of their mom/dad's oxford shirts. 31 is a great number -- enjoy it to the hilt and don't forget to pamper yourself! Throw in a massage or two, pedicure, manicure, etc.
