Hi, I'm Jessica. I've been blogging since early 2006, though it has frequently taken a backseat to everything else in my life - and that has been plenty.

I'm a Christian. My faith informs every aspect of my life. God is good - I can never do anything to make me worthy of His goodness and love.

I married Daniel in 2006, after knowing him only 4 months. It was the most impetuous, crazy thing I have ever done. And it was absolutely right. He's my Mr. Dream-come-true.

We have two daughters who are 20 months apart in age. They inspire me every day. There is never a dull moment around our house, and rarely a quiet one. I truly, sincerely love having girls. And I'm still lovin' the pink.

As a family, we read a lot of books, both to ourselves and to each other.

I always wanted a job that was creative, somewhat self-directed, and involved a lot of pleasant reading. Turns out my dream job was Motherhood.

I like lists.
I like bright colors but don't wear them very often.
I like naps. Carpe Dormio! (Seize the nap!)
I like to cook. I believe in butter.
I really like books. Really, really. Seriously.
